Mount Sherman is a 14,036-foot mountain in Colorado's Mosquito Range, widely regarded as one of the most accessible and beginner-friendly "14ers". My first 14er of 2016 and my first 14er in 4 years. This was a little easier than when I did Gray's Peak in 2012. It was still difficult but much easier now that I've been hiking out here these last few years. Weather was amazing. It was about 60-70 degrees and sunny the entire hike. No afternoon rainstorms. The sun caused a bad burn on my face and hands because I didn't wear sun screen. The hike up took just a few hours. We started about 730-8am and we got to the top just before noon.
