Green Mountain - Quick Hike 4/8/16
Green Mountain is a mesa on the eastern flank of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The 6,854-foot mesa summit is located in William Frederick Hayden Park in the City of Lakewood, Colorado, United States, 4.0 miles west of the municipal center of Lakewood in Jefferson County.

Hiked on Green Mountain today over off of Alameda Parkway. My friend and I started late in the afternoon after we got off work. She claimed to be outta shape but she out hiked me...as expected haha. We took the shorter of the trails which I believe to have the greatest elevation gain for the distance. It does seem to be easier to get to the top now that I've done this trail a few times.
All in all it was a good afternoon home and we both had a blast. Time to start planning a few more.
